MATLT Activity:
Strategy/Action Plan
In this assignment, students were required to identify an aspect of their organization that could be improved to support their mission. Students were to identify and focus on one problem area that could be improved and then write a strategy/action plan that would lead to planning for organizational change.
Implementing technology into the art curriculum of a suburban elementary school.
According to Chung (2007), “Advances in computer technology dramatically transform modern society into an arena where digital devices are indispensable. Collectively, technologies create a new genre of contemporary art forms that challenge art educators in search of meaningful practices” (as cited in Roland, 1994, p. 17).
Learning Theory:
According to Summerville and Reid-Griffen (2008), “The six stages of the ASSURE model are analyze learner; state objectives; select methods, media, and materials; utilize media and materials; require learner participation; and evaluate and revise” (as cited by Shelly, 2006, p. 47).
